Washington Mennonite Chorus

Washington Mennonite Chorus 2017_1

The Washington Mennonite Chorus was founded in November 2009 by Nathan and Faith Zook, residents of the Bloomingdale neighborhood in the District of Columbia. The purpose of the Chorus was to provide interaction among conservative Anabaptist churches with congregants who live or work in Washington, DC. The Chorus sings a repertoire of songs that illustrate the traditional a capella, four-part harmony music that is typical of our Mennonite worship services. This multi-generational Chorus performs annually on the Ellipse during the Pageant for Peace. In 2017, the Chorus also performed in the pre-show for the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. For more information or to book the Chorus, please contact Nathan Zook at faithannathan@yahoo.com or at 202-316-9394. Washington Mennonite Chorus 2017_2
